dear fantasy studs (wait, that doesn’t sound right …):
last week i was in the e.r. for cyclic vomiting syndrome, a horrible disease. i’m delirious for hours; at some point, the tv turns to the sox-atl game. i can’t speak or move, but through the agony, i remember tmr is going to be on in the 7TH. i tell my body to just hold on til then and wage an epic internal struggle. the inning comes and goes with no tmr, so i shut the tv and just try to zone out.
he was on in the 8TH?! false info never hurt so much.
put me in the man’s league because of my illness. not the one that put me in the hospital – the one that made me think matty sweet would help.
